The building owner at the Chatswood site would only agree to TCI's client's facility on the building rooftop if it were concealed. As the building already had microwave dishes owned by the building tenants, these had to be concealed as well. TCI developed an Australian first by constructing a screen transparent to microwave signals which appears to the onlooker as just another storey of the building.

The upper 'step' in the building is the RF transparent screen. The screen provides a 10 metre by 3metre high clear window.

Within the same building, TCI has designed and installed an in-building coverage system covering all leased floors, foyers, plantrooms, and carparks. Vodafone now have the capability of trialing and integrating their latest network developments within the building to the benefit of all their personnel.
